First week in the van. I can't believe we have already been traveling for one week and we have already made so many memories.

Sedona. Sedona is one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited. I highly recommend going at some point in your life. We hiked the Birthing Cave and Snoopy. These trails are not as busy, well, because they are not as easy to get too. Best advice I can give you if you want to do these hikes is to download the " All Trails" app. It will take you exactly the way you need to go. The Birthing Cave was a moderate hike and the view was stunning for sunset. This may have been my favorite hike so far. Snoopy was moderate at first, and then became pretty tough towards the end, but it is worth the 360 view of Sedona. The Snoopy trail is also pretty exclusive. It was just Rob and I for the longest time until we crossed two other gentleman, who were very nice and enjoyable to talk too. They gave us solid advice, and one of the guys happens to be a ski instructor for kids in Breckenridge, CO. We love Breckenridge, so we had plenty to talk about. That was fun!

After hiking Snoopy, we headed back to our Campsite. It was called Cave Springs. The camp host was awesome. She was one of the nicest and most hospitable people I've ever met. She really made the experience staying there so much better. We loved it!

After leaving Sedona, we headed to The Grand Canyon.

The Grand Canyon. Wow!!!! What a sight to see. I feel like everyone should go see The Grand Canyon! This was my second time, and I am still in awe of what God created. It takes your breath away. We stayed in the Mather Campground for two nights and it was probably my favorite campsite so far. You can walk to the grocery center and to the restaurant. The bathrooms were clean and it was a short two minute drive to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.

South Kaibab Trail.

This trail is a monster. Three miles down, three miles up. We woke up early on Sunday morning to get started on this hike. The South Kaibab trail is actually seven mile hike one-way to the bottom of The Grand Canyon. Most people who hike all the way down are planning to camp in the canyon overnight. This trail is not recommended as a day hike, unless you only go halfway, like we did. We hiked down to Skeleton Point, ate a snack, and made our way back up to the top. Also, on this hike, we made sure to bring lots and lots of water. The entire hike is exposed to the sun the entire way, which is why they recommend starting early before it gets too hot. Arizona heat is no joke. The trail was tough, but also rewarding. It was amazing to hike and see a different view from the middle of The Grand Canyon.

Alright, let's talk about the Van. The van is doing great. The bed is comfy, we made chicken wraps the other night, using our portable induction stove top, I have used the toilet, and it is nice, the van gets dirty fast, but cleans up fast, we packed a bunch more stuff than we needed, but that's a good thing, and it eats gas like nobody's business. HA! It's good. We have enjoyed using the monitor to catch up on watching, "Survivor" and the Grizz basketball games. It is cozy and fun to live in while we travel.

The whole experience has been incredible, despite my stomach and health issues, which I addressed in the last van blog. I am grateful for this opportunity with Robby. Like I said, we have already made so many memories in just one week! I am aware this time we have together alone is precious and that is why I am also writing a blog, to hopefully look back at this to help me remember all we have done together!
